 All of my paintings are original and one of a kind. Much of my work is created using very old doors and window frames that otherwise would rot away or were destined for the burn pile. I see the quality and craftsmanship of the wood and am compelled to re claim and then transform them into a work of art. First, I cut them into panels, then build a tinted plaster base in the center of the panel as my painting surface and stain or paint the outside frame to best bring out the age or character of the piece.
